10. The turmeric

Turmeric is often used as a whitening agent, this may seem surprising because when we talk about turmeric, we tend to say that if we touch it, it stains our hands.
Nevertheless, it has anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties and contains antioxidants. This makes it an effective product in the treatment of common dental problems such as gum disease. In some whitening toothpaste, you find turmeric on the list of components, as a fine powder, it acts as a mild abrasive, removing surface stains and revealing the whiteness of your teeth in instants.
For this dental treatment, you will need turmeric powder, but you can use the root of it as well. In order to obtain a paste with turmeric powder, you need to add a little water.
Simply rub the content of a teaspoon on your teeth with your finger, brush for 2 minutes, enough time for the turmeric to take effect.
Do not rinse your mouth immediately. Give turmeric about five minutes to work properly on your teeth. Then clean them with a toothbrush before rinsing. You can also add coconut oil.
