10/10 – The Cursed Ghosts of Bhangarh Fort, India
Also referred to as “Fort of Ghosts”, Located within the Alwar region, the uninhabited town of Bhangarh is one among the eeriest places imaginable and is unanimously considered together of the word’s most haunted places. it’s considered to be so dangerous that even the Archaeological Survey of India has legally prohibited anyone from entering the Bhangarh Fort after dark.
According to common folklore, an ascetic called Guru Balu Nath made the king swear that the fort shadows wouldn’t touch his area of meditation. But the king did not continue to his promise. As soon because the shadows touched his spot, Guru Balu Nath cursed the village to stay roofless, albeit a roof is made today, it collapses soon after.
Another story claims that a dark sorcerer lived here and was smitten by Rani Ratnavati, who was the most beautiful town’s princess, and he tried to cast a spell on one among her cosmetic products. The princess became suspicious and threw the bottle on an enormous stone boulder. suffering from the dark magic, the stone boulder crushed the magician to death. Before dying, he too cursed the residents of the Fort to stay roofless forever.
According to the locals, the Fort ghosts ensure that no humans survive if they live here. Even houses collapse if anyone tries to build one in the vicinity.
