2/10 – Gruesome Ghosts of Glamis Castle, Scotland

Glamis Castle (pronounced ‘Glahms’), one among the foremost haunted castles in Great Britain, was connected with tales involving demonic rites, secret passages, hidden prisoners, and shadowy silhouettes seen on the battlements late in the dark. A whole collection of ghosts is seen skulking about or staring creepily out of windows. Glamis Castle has more dark secrets than Satan’s private bathroom. It even spooked Sir Scott when he stayed the night in 1704.

It is said that at a while towards the beginning of the 19th century a monster was born to the heir of Glamis. This poor twisted creature, more sort of a toad than a person, was immensely strong and was imprisoned inside a secret chamber within the fifteen-foot thick walls of the castle. The awful secret of his whereabouts and exact identity could only be known to the then Earl and his next eldest son. The mystery remains to the present day, although rumors have circulated that the unfortunate monster, died in 1921, but unfortunately, there’s no record of his death.
